Purpose:<\/h1>\n

    <\/p>\n
  • To promote and develop fibromyalgia research\/div<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • To explore past and present studies on fibromyalgia worldwide<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • To reach out and build relations with:
    -   health researchers and clinical trial organizations in Canada
    -   professionals and organizations worldwide who are interested in fibromyalgia research<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • maintain a list of current Canadian and international fibromyalgia research;<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • determine where the gaps in fibromyalgia research are;<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • support efforts to attract financial investment for fibromyalgia research; and<\/li>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

  • encourage patient-oriented fibromyalgia research in Canada.<\/li>\n

    <\/ul>\n

    <\/p>\n

    Membership:<\/strong><\/h1>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    FAC\u2019s Research Committee is comprised of members who:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n
    • Bring a variety of lived experiences, skills, abilities, and networks to help advance the work of FAC<\/li>\n

      <\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

    • Bring diversity of the Research Committee with respect to age, location, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, and culture as the Committee strives to be broadly reflective of the fibromyalgia community<\/li>\n

      <\/ul>\n

      The FAC Research Committee will meet virtually via Zoom for 1\u00bd hours at 2:30pm EST the fourth Tuesday of every month<\/em><\/strong>. Closed captioning is also available<\/p>\n
